Summer Solstice Itinerary

Friday

Welcome drinks and treats will be provided.

Get settled in to your beautiful accommodation. Unpack, grab your goodie box.

 Friday Early Evening

Delicious first night dinner and introduction to the house and what the weekend holds, get to know your fellow retreaters.

Friday After Dinner

A session of Yoga and meditation with a deep guided relaxation preparing you for your first night and a great nights sleep.

This is also the time for intention setting – what you want to get from this weekend. Claire and Victoria are here to facilitate you getting the most from your stay.

Saturday Morning

 Yoga session starts the day. The body feeling alive and awake and Claire guiding you through how to be more in tune with your body and mind.

Breakfast follows, prepared by our amazing in house chef.

There will be an introductory session with Victoria around what you want and need from your stay and around principles of raising your awareness, regaining calm and focus. The fundamentals of meditation and what that really means for us in our daily life.

 Saturday Afternoon

Lunch – always delicious! Finalised menus will be given to you on your stay, all food is vegetarian and prepared with the best ingredients and care.

In the afternoon we will be exploring more Yogic, Meditation and self awareness principles. Lots of great stuff for you to take home and use day to day.

We will be, as always looking at the Season we are in and celebrating the Summer Solstice.

Saturday Evening

A Wonderful celebration of the Solstice. Food music and community, the connection that really makes us feel alive and content.

Sunday Morning

Yoga session starts the day

Breakfast follows prepared by our amazing in house chef (option of ‘’Good Green Smoothie’’ class and easy recipes for optimising health session for those who would like it, alternate activities for those who would prefer something different will be organised)

Sunday Afternoon

Session with Victoria on how to balance our energy feel good more of the time and have better relationships.

Sunday Evening

Ending of the weekend, a concluding circle where we share and connect, what we will take home, what we will leave behind. Saying goodbye to our surroundings and our experiences to fully end the experience well and to commit to beginning new habits and ways of being when we return home.

A relaxing sound bath to take us deeply into our inner calm and prepare us for the journey home on Monday morning.

( we understand that some guests may have pressing commitments so there is  an option for you to leave on Sunday night should you wish but obviously we’d love you to stay and get the full benefit from the end of the weekend.)

Summer solstice is an absolute firm favourite and this year we will be hosting you at the incredible Heaning Estate in the Lake District over an extended weekend to allow you to fully emerse.

In the ever changing and challenging landscape of the modern world, we are delighted to be able to offer you this opportunity. Creating a space for you to tune in; guided by intuitive yoga, nature immersion, breath, stillness, rest and the magic of sound to be reunited with your sense of self and reclaiming the part of us that get forgotten, so we can remember who we are, our beauty, joy and wisdom.

Food is a huge part of this experience and will be prepared by Grace from Root to Flower, an amazing plant based seasonal chef with a menu curated to support and nourish you.

This retreat is for you if you want to connect more deeply with your sense of self, to slow down and find sacred moments, if you value and crave freedom, if you want to live better and feel visualised, to release old patterns and fears, to move more freely with the seasons and all whilst being supported and in community.

Prices include; 3 nights luxury accommodation, daily yoga + meditation practice’s, therapeutic workshops, sound experience, summer solstice celebration, all meals, nature immersion, surprise supportive gift box and much more. A retreat or workshop holds all your attention. We are removed from our normal daily routine to better immerse ourselves in the experience and gain the maximum benefit from it.

We rebalance that vital energy, leaving you feeling relaxed and in control of anything you need to focus on in the future.

Workshops and retreats take on different forms depending on the size of the group and the dynamics. A safe confidential space is created where you can be acknowledged, understood, and supported, so you can explore what you need to get the most from the experience. There is also a sense of lightness and enjoyment.

These experiences are designed to be enjoyable and relaxing, with experiences you can take back to your day to day life and utilise going forward.

Everything you do with Victoria and Claire is designed to be enjoyed not endured!

Sometimes. We just need more time.

Having the chance of more time to concentrate and focus on things is a luxury we all need to afford ourselves. 

I am a great advocate of focus. I believe there is no such thing as helpful or effective ‘multi tasking’. When we say we do multiple tasks at once, we are simply dividing our focus and attention. We are not able to do the thing fully or to get the full benefit from doing it. Therefore, there will always be a deficit of energy somewhere else, the part of us we have drawn from to be able to do these things. 


 Most retreats and workshops are held in the rural north of England.

This makes for a beautiful and tranquil setting. When hosting a retreat I like to use three main venues, each offering its own welcoming space:

1. My home at Riverhouse, makes a relaxing backdrop for these healing experiences and is set by a river in a peaceful market town. There is space and time to feel truly comfortable and supported in what you are learning and exploring.

2. The Rewilding, located at Patty’s Barn Lancaster, is located a few minutes down the road residing in an inspiring rural location, allowing you to reconnect with your true self, the one that feels accepted and connected no matter what is happening in your everyday life.

3. The Hideaway at Lytham, is a lovely period home where small groups can have bespoke weekends or weeks away by the sea. This gives a different landscape but the same experience of trust, intimacy and understanding.

This is Victoria’s private venue located in the coastal setting of Lytham. This beautiful house boasts three double bedrooms and an outdoor courtyard and gardens.

Here you can truly indulge in one of the Complete Calm weekends, solely devoted to relaxation, from treats to help relax and unwind, to bespoke sessions with Victoria. The cottage creates a great environment to help you relax and optimise your health not just when you’re there but in your day to day life when you leave.
